Tournament Info

Invitation is extended to ALL badminton players to participate in PBCA’s Valentine’s Day Mixed Event (Men + Women pairing).

EVENTS:  The levels of play will be for B, B/C, C, C/D, D, and D/E. A second entry for a challenge level (play up) may be made.

Entry form can be found on the PBCA website www.philippinebadmintonclub.com starting Friday, January 27, 2012. Sign up forms will also be available at the front desk of ABC and in the PBCA office.

Entries must be submitted and received by Tuesday, midnight of February 7, 2012. Everyone is encouraged to submit their entries early.

Players that have no assigned or acceptable level with PBCA, are REQUIRED to undergo leveling with our leveling committee.  Contact any PBCA officer to be scheduled. Participating players that have not been given/assigned a level by PBCA after February 7, 2012, will NOT be allowed to participate. The final draw and matches will be finalized on February 9, 2012 and published on February 10, 2012.

FEE:  Entry fees for first event is $25.00, and second event $15.00. PBCA members in good standing will be given a $5.00 discount on their second event. One event shirt will be given to each participating player. One Yonex shuttlecock will be provided for each game. Drinks and Fruits will also be provided.  Non ABC members will need to pay $5.00 at the ABC front desk for entrance to the ABC court.

PBCA membership is open to interested players for an annual membership fee of $25.00 (individual). $40.00 (couple), and dependent children under 18 years old are FREE.

Trophies and medals will be awarded to 1st and runner-up winners per main event category.

Format of play will either be round robin or single elimination. This will depend entirely on the number of participants and events to play as determined from the final draw.

PBCA reserves the right to refuse an entry, change, modify or cancel the terms and conditions stipulated.
